Taking a break from work is always challenging ..but when we decided to explore Europe the temptation was just too much. Even working for five long days with 20 hours a day, did not deter our plan to make it happen. With work taken care of … it was a time for exploration.
We started from Hyderabad to Mumbai via Kingfisher and their in flight entertainment system made me think about use of Silver light to preview contents they showed and live TV transmission. Ah , no more technology stuff, I was supposed to be on vacation.
On reaching Heathrow we were greeted by Kashmira , our tour guide, and were given Indian dinner before retiring into bed to wear away tiredness caused by 10 hours journey.We opened our eyes to beautiful London.
We took a city tour to London such as Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, Westminster's Abbey and then boarded on a cruise to France.
Reached Paris and after dinner enjoyed the relaxing but extremely enjoyable SEINE RIVER CRUISE, also saw the beautiful monuments passing by us.
Next day we proceed for the city tour of Paris including visit to LOUVRE MUSEUM to see beautiful portrait of Mona Lisa. Then we entered amazing GREVIN WAX MUSEUM and took pictures with wax statues of who's-who of the world, which includes politicians, sportsmen, singers, Mahatma Gandhi and Shah Rukh Khan. We then went BENULUX for window shopping :-) and then on to GALERIES LAFAYETTE again for window shopping :---). Visit to EIFFEL TOWER, Level 3 was breath taking experience. Breath taking literally means breath taking as it was so freezing up there that we find it difficult to operate camera by taking gloves off . Famous Paris 'LA NOUVELLE EVE SHOW' was hilarious with amazing light effects and unforgettable sound those live performers beauties made.
